Here at Check Your Plate, we want it to be a place to learn, seek evidence-based nutrition advice and become inspired to cook nutritious and delicious meals to help you make long-term and sustainable changes to compliment your lifestyle.
Check Your Plate was developed to equip, support and empower you to make the best food choices to suit your everyday lifestyle and goals. Ideally, we want you to think about how your individual plate may:
Give you adequate energy to fuel your everyday activities,
Fuel your sporting/performance,
Assist in the management of your own unique condition or illness and/or
Reduce some of the risks associated with diet-related disease in the future
In order to alleviate any confusions behind the meaning of Check Your Plate, we will clarify that this is not a platform developed to make you think and strive for the most perfect looking plate all of the time. There is no such thing as the perfect looking plate and you do not have to eat 'perfectly' (whatever that looks like) to be healthy or be the very best version of yourself.

My mission is to inspire you to be the best version of yourself by nourishing your body with the right foods to suit your individual requirements. I love the saying that "you've got to nourish to flourish" and truly believe in the holistic, food-first approach to health and wellbeing.
My goal is to educate you on nutrition in an evidence-based way meaning, what you see or hear from me is bullsh*t free! I aim to equip you with the right tools so that you are able to make practical and sustainable changes to live your best life.
My core values are respect, empathy and accountability meaning, consultations with me will be confidential, safe and a space where you can express your concerns and goals free from judgement. I aim on supporting my valued clients with their questions and goals through the provision of unlimited email support and review consultations when required.
